The Project .............
He is being called to work with a small young church of believers, the Northside Church of Christ, who have a great vision for the kingdom in the northern suburbs of Sydney. The goal of this teaming up of the Little’s and Northside is to work with God in the raising up a healthy church that will plant many other churches in the northern suburbs of Sydney through the preaching of the good news of Jesus. The Northside church began worshipping together 2 years ago. They felt that in order to renew and revive their walk with God they needed to do something different. This has proven to be a fantastic decision and their faith has blossomed in a refreshing environment. To date they are a congregation of 10 committed Christians. Average weekly attendance is 12 to 15 people. Field of Work Sydney is largely a post-Christian culture. In recent years they have showed signs of turning to God especially if the message they hear is a non-denominational one focused on forming a relationship with God and other people. The Northside area is predominately middle class and family focused with a population of 250,000 living within a 45 minute radius. The Statistics Statistics really don't tell the whole story but they do tell us a little bit. For those so inclined here are the statistics on the two municipalities that cover our field of work.
